Nyahera, Kisumu County, KenyaBlair Educational Center serves 400 students from playgroup through grade 9 and is recognized locally for preparing students well for secondary school.
Blair student Kelvin Serem proposed building a second school in his home village, leading to the creation of Blair Serem Academy.

Medical Missions
Blair in Kenya is working toward expanding the clinic into a community health center staffed by nurses and visiting doctors in collaboration with the Kenyan Department of Health.
Child Sponsorships
Education in Kenya requires families to cover several costs including tuition, meals, transportation, uniforms, and school supplies.
Many families in the communities served by Blair in Kenya cannot afford these expenses.
Through our sponsorship program, donors help ensure that children have the opportunity to attend school and succeed.

Blair in Kenya is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of Kenya’s rural poor through educational, medical, and economic opportunity.
Blair in KenyaOur mission is to provide two communities in rural Kenya with the resources necessary to provide the educational and health needs of children until they can become self sustaining.
Why This Work Matters
In rural western Kenya, many families face daily challenges that make it difficult for children to attend school and stay healthy. School fees, transportation, uniforms, and books can be beyond the reach of families who are working hard simply to provide food and basic necessities.
When children have access to education, healthcare, and opportunity, they gain the power to shape their own future—and the future of their communities.
